HR Administrator

Hours: 25-37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, to be agreed with successful candidate. HILS are open to consider opportunities to job-share for this role.

Salary: £17,316 - £19,240 per annum, pro rata for part time

Location: Letchworth, SG6 1HB- must be able to travel on occasion to 3 other sites across Hertfordshire and, if required, 1 site in London

Description:

This is an exciting and challenging role, working as part of a busy, happy, and positive HR team within a leading charitable, not-for-profit, social enterprise which supports vulnerable adults with independent living services such as meals on wheels, health and wellbeing services, dementia fun clubs, and much more.

As an HR team, we support around 270 staff members and 40 volunteers, across five different sites, and a small number of remote workers. The HR team is a vital and professional support team and this role would be suitable for someone looking to enter into a HR role and has experience of working in more general administration roles.

Reporting to Team Leader- Human Resources, the post holder will administer HR procedures and processes across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring all internal procedures and policies are followed in a timely manner, maintaining confidentiality at all times. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that staff and candidate queries and are dealt with in a responsive and professional manner, and uphold the values that underpin all that we do.

Community Advocate

Reference: CA

Hours: 16-20 hours per week. Flexibility in hours of work is required (may include mornings, afternoons, or weekend work as per the needs and availability of clients, and by agreement with your line manager).

Hourly rate: £10 per hour

Location: St Albans- AL3 5BU or Hemel- HP2 4EU, plus work in individual client’s homes and other suitable locations.

Contract type: Fixed term contract until June 2021

The role of Community Advocate will require the successful candidate to act on behalf of elderly and vulnerable clients to ensure their needs are looked after, taking their instruction. As representatives, you will need to communicate regularly with clients you are working with and effectively communicate with other agencies you may be in contact with.

Director of Resources

Hours: 37 hours per week, 5 days out of 7

Salary: Competitive

Location: Letchworth, SG6 1HB. The Postholder will be expected to travel to all HILS sites on occasion (Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Ware and Camden)

Community Meals on Wheels Driver - Hertfordshire

Hours: We are currently recruiting for team members to support in the operations of our meals service between the hours of 11am until 2pm, with some flexibility to work after 2pm in the event of unexpected delays

Hourly rate: £9.00 per hour (weekdays) and £9.75 per hour (weekends)

Location: Letchworth, Ware, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans
