Dementia Club Activities Assistant

Reference: DCAA

Hours: 16.5 hours per week: Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday

Hourly rate: £8.75 per hour

Location: St Albans- AL3 5BU

Contract type: Permanent

Description:

The primary function of this role is to support the Team Leader in providing engaging, stimulating and fun activities for the club members throughout the day. The Activities Assistant will offer caring support to clients and their carers.

This position requires a great deal of creativity and flexibility. The Activity Assistant must be able to provide supervision for clients when necessary, and ensure clients are kept safe during activities. This includes strict control of items which could be potential safety hazards.

The Activity Assistant is responsible for keeping our clients socially and cognitively engaged through recreational exercises. They must ensure that scheduled programming is carried out according to the posted schedule at all times. The Activity Assistant is responsible for keeping the Team Leader informed on needs of the program and/or changes in the clients’ ability to actively participate in the club.

Community Meals on Wheels Driver - London

Reference: CD-C

Hours: We are currently recruiting for team members to support in the operations of our meals service between the hours of 11am-2pm, with some flexibility to work after 2pm in the event of unexpected delays. We have a range of contracts available.

Hourly rate: £9.75 per hour

Location: Camden, NW1 7HE and surrounding areas.

Contract type: We have many flexible contracts available, which are fixed term until 31st March 2019.

You will be provided with a free uniform and use of a work vehicle for the delivery period.

Our Community Meals on Wheels Drivers are responsible for delivering hot meals to vulnerable, disabled, and elderly clients across Hertfordshire and London. We are looking for our drivers to be reliable team players, who are caring and able to communicate easily with vulnerable clients.

Hours: We are currently recruiting for team members to support in the operations of our meals service between the hours of 11am until 2pm, with some flexibility to work after 2pm in the event of unexpected delays

Hourly rate: £8.75 per hour (weekdays) and £9.25 per hour (weekends)

Location: Letchworth, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans- current 16 hours available in Letchworth

Contract type: Each site has a range of contracts available. Please outline your availability in your application.
