Our Advocacy service supports people to make the right decisions regarding their care and support in Hertfordshire.

An advocate is someone who will help you understand your health and social care choices and options.

You may want an advocate if:

  • you find it difficult to make your views known or understood
  • you want someone to listen to you

An advocate will:

  • listen to you
  • go to meetings with you
  • speak on your behalf
  • write letters or emails with you
  • explain things to you
  • research things for you

We provide advocates for older people in Hertfordshire. Advocates are independent and won’t judge you.
